Water Resistant

Ok, just wanted to give all of you a word of warning. . . 80)
When a watch says that it is water resistant, that does NOT mean that you should wear it swimming. . .
Last week my dear husband took the kids swimming, as he jumped in the pool I noticed that his watch was on and asked if he wanted to take it off. He quickly pointed out that it was water resistant and that he knew it would be fine. I asked if he was sure, and he was.
The next day we noticed that the face of his watch seemed a little fuzzy, like it was misted up or something, and sure enough water had gotten in. Well, by this week, the second hand is now literally rusting and water droplets are continuously formed on the inside of the face. We've had many good laughs over it, and luckily had a chance to go find a replacement watch while on vacation. The store clerk was quick to point out once seeing the old watch, that while the new watch was water resistant, they didn't advise actually swimming with them on. 80)
